Doug Lamoureux - Owner-Operator/Marketing Director

Doug brings experience in sales, project management, product development and marketing to EagleRay Marketing. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1994. Doug pursued Sales Management in the electronic and wireless markets from 1994 to 1998. Doug moved to Business Improvement Inc. (BI) in 1998. At BI, Doug successfully led and managed teams of employees as an Account Manager and then Senior Account Manager on numerous Fortune 500 accounts. Doug successfully managed million-dollar budgets and programs consisting of websites, travel programs and incentive campaigns.

Doug comes to EagleRay from a Product Manager position at Midwest Wireless. During his time at Midwest Wireless, he managed all aspects of his product from development and launch to marketing and promotions and increased revenue for his products by over 100%.

Doug resides in Mankato, MN with his wife Kristin, daughters Katherine and Elizabeth and son, Charlie. Doug enjoys the outdoors and the acquaintance of new and interesting people. He has visited Central America several times, where he has enjoyed sailing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking and hiking. He is attracted to the natural beauty of Central America and the charm of its people.

Kristin Lamoureux - Owner-Operator/Sales Director

Kristin's career is in travel, event planning and marketing and sales. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, in Minnesota, in 1994 with an English major and Business minor. From 1998-2001, she worked as a corporate travel and event planner. During this time, she traveled around the US and the Caribbean. She worked with the world's finest hotels making all event details run smoothly.

In 2001, Kristin became the Marketing and Sales Director for the Blue Tang Inn, Ambergris Caye, Belize. From 2001-2006, she increased occupancy over 100% for the Blue Tang Inn. This increase was realized through the combined efforts of personalized reservations, quality print creation, effective relationships, a quality Web site, effective direct marketing and the amazing Blue Tang Inn staff. Kristin enjoys visiting with first-time Latin American travelers, building their excitement and comfort level. There is so much to explore in Latin America, it is easy to express a passion for it.

Derek Fisher - Owner

Derek brings experience in strategic planning, management and analysis. His experience before EagleRay Marketing includes managing a wood product manufacturing company from 2003 until it was sold in 2006, assisting business owners and investors as a commercial real estate sales and leasing agent from 2001 to 2003, and serving as the Conservation Agronomist for the State of Minnesota from 1998 until 2001.  Derek received a BA from St. Olaf College in 1993 with distinction in Economics and a minor in Environmental Science. He received a MS in Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1998.

Derek enjoys being active in the great outdoors. His favorite activities include biking, sailing, kiteboarding, skiing, scuba diving and backpacking. He is an active commercial real estate investor and enjoys revitalizing unique commercial buildings. Whenever possible, Derek escapes to international destinations where he loves to explore cultures and search for undiscovered special places.  Most recently, Derek has been exploring Colombia where he met his beautiful Colombian wife while attending the TravelMart Latin America tradeshow in Cartagena.
